SPORTFIVE and Bad Moon Talent Partner to Expand Esports and Gaming Capabilities in North America

Partnership combines the agencies’ services and expertise in esports and gaming to provide enhanced business solutions for brands, rights holders, and individual talent

NEW YORK and LOS ANGELES, January 27, 2022 – SPORTFIVE, the global sports marketing agency, and Bad Moon Talent, the gaming agency, today announced a new strategic partnership that will expand the capabilities for both companies in esports and gaming. The partnership will bring together each agency’s respective resources and expertise to better serve brands, rights holders, and individual talent in the industry.

As part of the partnership, the agencies will work together to provide properties and companies with customized strategic solutions to maximize their investments and activities in esports and gaming. The cooperation will entitle current and prospective clients with extensive industry knowledge, category authenticity, and vast global resources to deliver best-in-class results across strategy, ideation, and execution.

With over 20 years of esports and video game industry experience, Bad Moon Talent co-founders and executives, Andrew Drake, former Activision Blizzard executive, and Brice Faccento, a former Call of Duty champion, have a full grasp of the industry from brand strategy, influencer and talent representation, partnerships, and business structure. In late 2020, Drake and Faccento were instrumental in supporting the IPO of UK-based David Beckham’s esports organization Guild Esports. Drake also remains an active board member of Guild Esports.

“Since we formed Bad Moon Talent in 2019, our goal has been to provide world-class representation for our clients and the businesses we represent,” said Drake. “This partnership with SPORTFIVE, which is a well-established global leader in sport marketing and media rights’ management, will push our capabilities and reach to new levels.”
